About the role
The Training Coordinator supports the needs of the Training Department by coordinating and supporting all aspects of employee training programs, including preparing materials, managing logistics (catering, travel, room setup), maintaining attendance and certifications, and other related tasks.
Reports to: Director of Training
Responsibilities
- Training Preparation
- Prepare materials for training, including sign-in sheets, course evaluations, binders, and handouts.
- Set up training rooms prior to sessions and replenish food and beverages as needed.
- Place and pick up catering orders for training events via phone, email, or online platforms, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to budget and dietary needs.
- Training Coordination
- Coordinate all aspects of employee training including sending invites, tracking registrations, maintaining accurate attendance records, and rescheduling employees as needed.
- Register employees for internal and external training and manage related logistics such as hotels/transportation when required.
- Training Communication
- Communicate regularly with employees via email and phone to remind them of upcoming training, support training enrollment by confirming schedules, locations, and participant needs.
- Coordinate delivery of certifications and training supplies.
- Records and Data Management
- Log and maintain training certifications and records in internal company drives in accordance with company standards.
- Compile training statistics and data to support departmental reporting and leadership requests.
- Learning Management System (LMS) Management
- Assist with administration of LMS, including managing enrollments, attendance, verifying course completion, and testing courses prior to publishing.
- Support a smooth LMS experience for employees by assisting with issues and ensuring accuracy on the platform.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- 1-2 years of experience in client relations, HR department, corporate training, or a related field.
- Experience with instructional development tools is preferred.
- Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Suite products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen holding a current driver’s license.
- Must be able to maintain professionalism and overall model conduct.
- Must be detail-oriented, have good organizational skills, high independent thinking skills, and good judgment.
- Must work well with all levels of the organization, take direction well, and have a sense of urgency while completing tasks and meeting routine deadlines.
- Must have own transportation regularly (3-4 times a week) to run errands, pick up food, grocery store trips, and other related tasks.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Instructional Design, Education & Training, Communications, or a similar field.

Pay
The hourly rate for this role will be $23-$27 per hour.
