About the Role
Conduct new hire onboarding and training. Coordinate training schedules with hiring and training demands. Work with management, supervisors, and employees to understand work situations requiring training and changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and credit union initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Determine instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, or meetings.
- Develop training methods and aids, including tutorials, handbooks, and presentations.
- Assist managers with questions on task execution.
- Test trainees to measure progress and evaluate training effectiveness.
- Stay updated on policies, procedures, operating systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Work with management to define training needs.
- Develop testing to measure training effectiveness and employee progress.
- Generate monthly training reports for courses taken by staff.
- Assist managers in monitoring learning measurement criteria to address performance gaps.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Participate in required meetings and training.
- Ensure compliance with laws, statutes, rules, and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and US Patriot Act.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of training experience in a similar or related role in a financial institution (Credit Union preferred).
- Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- High degree of accuracy in handling cash and transactions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to represent the Credit Union professionally.
- Ability to exercise judgment and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to complete tasks despite interruptions.
Physical Demands
- Required to sit for extended periods and occasionally walk to provide member services.
- Required to lift up to 50 lbs. (coin bags).
- Moderate to high noise levels in the immediate area; standard hearing range necessary for communication.
Work Conditions
- Regular workday with occasional overtime.
- Ability to travel to branch locations.
- Exposed to potentially hazardous conditions (robbery).
Pay
$21.63-$36.05
