Brief Description As a training coordinator, you will train and lead a team of hard-working and talented hourly entry-level associates who produce high-quality products for our customers. In this role you will have the opportunity to enter our leader/manager in training program. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills, knowledge, and network in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment. Schedule: Monday – Thursday 6:30am-5:00pm. When training needs arise on 2nd shift, your schedule will be 8:30am-7:00pm. Overtime will be scheduled as business needs arise. Reporting: This position will report directly to the Operations Manager. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Lead by example and inspire your team to achieve production goals and quality standards. Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and training to your team members on performance, safety, and compliance. Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as productivity, efficiency, quality, and safety. Ensure that your team follows company policies, procedures, and regulations, as well as federal, state, and local laws. Identify and resolve issues and problems that affect the operation, such as equipment malfunctions, material shortages, or quality defects. Participate in and support continuous improvement initiatives and projects to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Collaborate and communicate effectively with other shift supervisors and leaders in the plant and across the organization. Must be willing to work on off shifts as needed. Other duties as required or assigned. Required Education And/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership role. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a diverse team of associates. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality standards. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Willingness and ability to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities. Flexibility to work different shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed. Strong math and comprehension skills Excellent work ethic and ability and interest to assume greater responsibility
