Training Coordinator
Schedule and Coordinate New Hire Orientation
Schedules and coordinates New Hire Orientation program.
Schedules and coordinates cleaning details and tool training for new hires during orientation week.
Ensures new hires have a thorough understanding of all information provided during orientation week.
Captures and reports any issues encountered during orientation week to leadership.
Support TMX Initiatives
Coordinates regularly scheduled “Green Hat” meetings.
Assists with the development and delivery of training presentations, materials, and exercises.
Works closely with Production Manager, TMX Manager, and General Manager to advance special TMX projects.
Training and Development
Designs and delivers training presentations, materials, and exercises to reinforce Understanding of manufacturing processes.
Provides training for trainers who lead job skills training.
Selects and provides training for trainers who lead job skills training.
Other Duties
Assists with the completion of required training programs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management preferred
- Experience with training and instructing personnel
- Strong facilitation, instruction, and coaching skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects at one time
- Computer literate (AS400, Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate clearly and positively at all levels, including internal and external customers, peers, managers, and the home office.
- Bi-lingual in plants that are predominantly Spanish speaking
- Capable of handling and maintaining highly confidential information
