About the role
The Training Coordinator supports the organization's learning and development initiatives by coordinating and delivering employee training programs. Key responsibilities include managing training schedules, maintaining learning records, tracking program participation and completion, and assisting with onboarding and professional development activities.
Responsibilities
- Supports the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), including course creation, content uploads, training assignments, and reporting for stakeholders.
- Serves as a point of contact for employees regarding HR, Total Rewards, and Learning & Development inquiries.
- Supports reporting and tracking of outreach and engagement activities.
- Aids in open enrollment processes, including preparation of materials, employee support, and data auditing.
- Delivers high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assists in administering employee surveys and analyzing/reporting results.
- Promotes positive employee relations, enhances engagement, and supports retention initiatives.
- Ensures compliance with applicable labor laws, regulations, and internal HR policies.
- Utilizes LEAN concepts or other continuous improvement methodologies to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 0–2 years of experience in an HR, administrative, or related role.
- Familiarity with HR systems such as HRIS, LMS platforms, benefits administration tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices preferred.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with a team-oriented mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear documentation and reports.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication with employees at all levels.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high accuracy.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
