Training Content Developer
About the role
The Training Content Developer supports the development and maintenance of training content for instructor-led (ILT) and eLearning programs. This role focuses on updating training materials, assisting with storyboards and multimedia content, testing eLearning courses, and maintaining documentation.
Responsibilities
- Partner with L&D consultants, stakeholders, and SMEs to gather requirements and define training objectives.
- Develop and update training materials, including presentations, guides, job aids, and assessments.
- Convert source content into polished, standardized training deliverables.
- Apply instructional design principles and adult learning best practices.
- Aid with storyboarding, voice-over recording, and basic multimedia development.
- Conduct QA testing of eLearning courses in the LMS and provide feedback.
- Maintain course documentation and version control in SharePoint.
- Ensure all content meets branding, formatting, and accessibility standards.
- Track progress, provide project updates, and support multiple concurrent projects.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 1–5 years of instructional design or curriculum development experience.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word, along with experience with LMS platforms for testing and QA, voice-over recording, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint.
- Core Competencies: Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, adaptability to different learning styles and delivery methods, strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
