About the role
The Training Consultant will deliver high-quality client training programs during implementation, go-live, and ongoing adoption phases. This role helps users understand how to navigate and apply healthcare software products, including care coordination, risk adjustment, population health, utilization management, and analytics tools, within their daily workflows.
Responsibilities
- Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Deliver end-user and superuser training across the organization’s healthcare software product suite, both virtually and onsite.
- Lead training sessions that are clear, engaging, and tailored to each client’s workflows, operational needs, and user groups.
- Support clients during go-live periods by providing hands-on assistance, answering workflow questions, and reinforcing best practices.
- Prepare training materials, session agendas, product demonstrations, practical examples, and workflow-based scenarios to support effective learning.
- Client Engagement & Support
- Serve as a trusted training resource for clients throughout the implementation journey.
- Help identify knowledge gaps, workflow challenges, and areas where additional training or retraining may be needed.
- Partner with implementation team members to stay aligned on training timelines, client readiness, and implementation progress.
- Escalate client concerns, training risks, adoption issues, or readiness gaps to leadership when appropriate.
- Product Knowledge
- Maintain a strong understanding of the product suite, including navigation, workflows, core functionality, and user-facing features.
- Stay current on product updates and enhancements to ensure training content remains accurate and up to date.
- Collaborate with product and delivery teams to share feedback, user questions, workflow friction points, and training insights gathered during client sessions.
- Documentation & Process Adherence
- Use standardized training materials and provide feedback to help improve training content, client resources, and internal processes.
- Document client training progress, attendance, completed sessions, follow-up needs, and outstanding action items.
- Support the development of training guides, quick reference materials, workflow documentation, and other client-facing learning resources.
- Participate in ongoing team process improvement initiatives to strengthen training delivery and client adoption.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with implementation consultants, data migration, support, and client success teams to create a consistent client experience.
- Participate in internal training sessions to deepen product knowledge, strengthen delivery skills, and support broader team success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Education, Training, Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in training, client education, customer success, healthcare operations, or a related client-facing role.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex workflows in a clear and practical way.
- Experience with healthcare, EMR/EHR systems, or PACE operations strongly preferred.
- Excellent organization, time management, follow-through, and client service skills.
- Ability to travel for onsite training and go-live support at least two weeks per month.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Education, Training, Technology, or a related field preferred.
