Training Center Instructor

About the role

This position involves delivering technical training to dealership service personnel for Honda and Acura vehicles, both at training centers and in-dealer settings, to foster Lifetime Owner Loyalty. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, vehicles, and facilities to high standards in compliance with Honda, State, and Federal regulations. The trainer analyzes training needs across districts and dealers, provides expert advice on training modules, and ensures the quality of instruction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive technical training and ensure certification requirements are met regularly.
• Maintain training center equipment, vehicles, and tools, ensuring readiness for diagnostics and repairs.
• Support development of training modules and provide technical advice.
• Ensure facility and equipment upkeep, and uphold professional standards.
• Contribute to special projects related to automotive training.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Industrial, Business, or Education; AA preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant automotive technical experience.
• Experience as an automotive instructor or technician.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong presentation skills.
