Training and Knowledge Management Specialist
About the role
Responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving a centralized Knowledge Base that houses key data, information, presentations, and other resources to support enterprise knowledge management. You will build and utilize strategic partnerships with business units across the company to gather key data and information. Partner with leaders within business areas to develop and deliver impactful communication tools and products. Translate technical information and data into formats that are understandable and persuasive to the broad employee base, aiding users in decision-making processes. Determine the best ways to store and display information in a user-friendly manner.
Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Training: Proactively develop communication and training content to support business areas. Partner with subject matter experts to produce job aids, work instructions, training courses, slide decks, communication bulletins, and shareable or stream-able videos.
- Communication: Partner with leaders to integrate data and information, and develop key messages for Knowledge Base incorporation. Acquire and translate technical information into formats that are understandable and persuasive to employees, assisting in decision-making. Develop videos, graphics, and charts to communicate data and processes.
- Information Management: Develop and organize a user-friendly system for employees to retrieve and interpret data and information. Manage content, information indexing, system workflow, and rule publishing for how information should be presented. Partner with Business Systems to implement requirements in a user-friendly format.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communication or equivalent education and experience.
- Three years of related experience, with one year of training experience preferred.
- Strong organization, analytical, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, database, and content publishing tools.
- Up to 25% travel required.
Pay
Anticipated starting base pay: $64,100.00 to $90,967.00 per year.
