Training and Development Specialist

About the role

Responsible for creating, developing, implementing, and conducting training and development activities for employees. Identifies training needs and develops training materials. Formulates and develops plans to meet specific development and training needs and challenges. Utilizes experience based on knowledge of policies and procedures, and formal training to recommend and administer training and development programs which will promote a high level of staff morale and produce a good return on the Credit Union's investment. Participates in training organizations and professional organizations to stay abreast of new training methods.

Responsibilities

• Create, develop, implement, and conduct training and development activities for employees

• Recommend and administer training and development programs
• Participate in training and professional organizations to stay current with new training methods

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of training experience
• Training experience within a financial institution preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Training and Development preferred

• Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software
• Ability to design and implement effective training and development
• Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
• Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
• Well organized and attentive to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong presentation skills and ability to meet deadlines
