Job Summary
Captures and delivers digital forensic training programs that promote effective understanding and practical application of technical skills. Develops, reviews, and refines lesson plans and instructional materials in alignment with program objectives. Assesses student baseline knowledge and competency levels, delivers classroom and scenario-based instruction, and conducts ongoing evaluation of student performance through verbal feedback and written assessments. Serves as a subject matter expert in digital forensics by providing technical consultation, applied research, and project support. Provides technical expertise for forensic intelligence and law enforcement activities in support of military and defense contracting initiatives.
- Develops, maintains, and delivers digital media (MEDEX/CELLEX) training programs for civilian and military audiences, incorporating current methodologies, foundational theory, and relevant operational practices into instructional delivery.
- Develops, implements, and maintains training materials, teaching aids, hands-on exercises, and scenarios; collaborates in the ongoing review and refinement of lesson plans and delivery methods to ensure effective and consistent training delivery.
- Carrries out course preparation and supports activities including materials kitting, inventory, and scenario planning/setup.
- Facilitates communication with training customers, team members, and partner personnel to coordinate instructional requirements, materials, course schedules, participant selection, and identification of training or staff development needs.
- Provides digital media instruction in tactics, techniques, and procedures for acquisition, exploitation, analysis, integration, and report production.
- Develops and implements evaluation tools; conducts participant assessments and testing through demonstrated applied learning techniques.
- Conducts course evaluation and quality control activities in partnership with the project services team; recommends improvements to enhance participant learning.
- Supports project delivery and forensic intelligence activities through application of subject matter expertise, including technical consultation, research, evaluation, recommendations, reach-back support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution related to project-specific equipment, technologies, and processes.
- Maintains current skills in field of study.
Minimum Qualifications
- Positions under National Forensic Science Technology Center will require Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and 5 years of experience in related field; OR nine (9) years of relevant training and/or military experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and/or military experience.
Departmental Requirements
Must be eligible for a Department of Defense clearance.

- Experience in media (MEDEX) and cellular phone (CELLEX) exploitation.
