Responsibilities
- Provide equipment training for all positions on Powered Industrial Trucks using established work instructions, training material, and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Plan and facilitate training in conjunction with Standard Operating Procedures of the distribution departments.
- Maintain training files, both physical and electronic; complete training documents via SharePoint Site and PowerApps.
- Develop training material in collaboration with the Training Manager, Safety, and Management.
- Provide feedback on training or material such as work instructions and training documents to support continual improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School education or 2–3 years of related experience.
- Self‑directed work style.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to interpret and complete charts, schedules, reports, forms, and records.
- Physical dexterity sufficient to accomplish required tasks.
- Capability to operate powered industrial trucks and equipment safely following established work instructions.
- Cooperative attitude toward coworkers and management.
- Consistent use of required PPE (safety vest, ear plugs, safety glasses, etc.) as needed for safety.
- Ability to stand 100 % of the time and maintain continuous mental and visual attention.
- Adherence to 5S methodology (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb. with or without assistance.
- Availability to work long hours and weekends, as needed.
- Maintain equipment in clean, good working order and report problems to a supervisor.
- Commitment to continual improvement in departmental processes and functions.
- Compliance with general warehouse safety policies and forklift training rules.
Physical Demands
- Standing for extended periods.
- Repetitive motion.
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of parts and containers.
- Frequent lifting up to 50 lb; team lifts over 50 lb.
- Ability to work in various temperature conditions.
