About the role

This is a full-time, exempt, salaried position that works Monday through Friday with flexibility to work evenings and weekends to meet training needs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with departments to meet their respective training needs.
  • Oversees the Relias online learning system assignments and tracks all training of Caminos staff in the agency.
  • Works collaboratively with supervisors to create training plans and assess team needs.
  • Maintains compliance with ORR, Everstand, and other key regulatory bodies.
  • Develops and implements training plans addressing regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains staff current with training requirements.
  • Assists with continuing education units (CEUs) for licensed clinicians and state license entities.
  • Coordinates weekly trainings for direct care staff featuring job-related, relevant training.
  • Briefs leadership and senior leadership quarterly on the status of the Caminos Training plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, or a related field, and two years of training or teaching experience preferred.
  • Current or ability to obtain trainer certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), CPR/First Aid/AED (Red Cross), PSA, and any other training required for the organization.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children or youth.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak proficiently in both English and Spanish.
  • Proof of, and ability to obtain, the required immunizations (Varicella, MMR, Tdap, Influenza).
  • Valid driver license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

  • Ability to provide proof of, obtain, and/or maintain the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) currently required immunizations (subject to change per ORR guidance).
  • Knowledge of and ability to comply with regulatory requirements.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments and teams.
  • Experience with training and development programs.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and documentation.
