Trainer

About the role

Quanex is looking for a Trainer to join our team located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The Trainer is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering training programs that support employee development, operational effectiveness, safety compliance, quality standards, and workforce readiness. This role facilitates classroom, hands-on, and on-the-job training for new hires and existing employees, evaluates training effectiveness, maintains training records, and supports continuous learning initiatives.

Schedule

Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm or Monday–Thursday, 8:00 am – 6:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver training programs for new and existing employees
• Train employees on company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and safety requirements
• Assist with developing SOPs
• Evaluate employee knowledge, skills, and competency through assessments, observations, and performance evaluations
