About the role

At Chick-fil-A DFW Airport, being a Trainer is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to lead by example, develop others, and help build a culture of excellence, hospitality, and continuous growth. In our fast-paced airport environment, Trainers play a critical role in onboarding and developing new team members while ensuring operational standards, guest service expectations, and food quality requirements are consistently achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Train and onboard new Front of House and Back of House team members
  • Demonstrate and reinforce Chick-fil-A service, food quality, and operational standards
  • Provide hands-on coaching and real-time feedback during shifts
  • Support team member development through observation, instruction, and encouragement
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards throughout the restaurant
  • Auxiliary support with guest service and kitchen operations as needed
  • Ensure team members follow proper procedures, recipes, and safety guidelines
  • Monitor training progress and communicate development opportunities to leadership
  • Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude
  • Support both Front of House and Back of House teams during high-volume periods
  • Uphold Chick-fil-A standards, policies, and appearance guidelines
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous Chick-fil-A, restaurant, customer service, or food service experience preferred
  • Prior training, coaching, or leadership experience is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
  • Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds regularly
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
