About the Role
A Trainer at NRI serves as the face of the company, focusing on delivering outstanding team member experiences by training warehouse staff on best practices, safety, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This role involves mentoring new employees, fostering team spirit, and contributing to the development of training programs. The ideal candidate is approachable, patient, and adaptable, with the creativity to make training engaging and effective.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm
Pay
Starting pay: $21.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential.
Location

Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate training for new hires and existing employees, ensuring consistency in delivery and evaluation.
- Coach, counsel, and inspire employees to meet and exceed performance metrics.
- Assess skill and knowledge gaps to create and improve training programs, aligning them with business objectives and SOP updates.
- Exhibit positive communication and team-building skills to maintain a professional training environment.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures; report unsafe activities to supervisors or the Safety Manager.
- Maintain training logs and documentation.
- Keep work and storage areas safe, clean, and organized.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements
- 12+ months of training experience, preferably in a warehouse environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint) or willingness to learn.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is required.
- Physical ability to perform essential job functions, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs., standing/walking for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, and tolerating conditions such as dust, noise, odors, heat, and cold.
Qualifications
- Fast learner capable of mastering multiple departments and training others.
- Ability to read and/or write SOPs.
- Patience to adapt training styles for different learning needs.
- Strong communication skills to build rapport with new hires and all organizational levels.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business priorities.
- Trustworthy and moral character (pre-employment background and drug tests are required).
