Trainer

Role Overview

Entarian is seeking an Instructor/Trainer to provide the initial transfer of knowledge on the operation and maintenance of new, legacy, and Commercial Off‑the‑Shelf (COTS) tactical radio systems through New Equipment Training (NET) in support of PM C2 Transport (PM CT). The role includes executing other training activities as required, such as Train‑the‑Trainers efforts. An active Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out instructional and trainer functions in support of the Handheld, Manpack & Small‑Form Fit (HMS) programs, including but not limited to AN/PRC‑158, AN/PRC‑162, AN/PRC‑163 and future generations of HMS radios and/or systems.
• Train on COTS radios such as AN/PRC‑148C, AN/PRC‑161, AN/PRC‑152A, AN/PRC‑117G and any future COTS radios and/or systems.
• Facilitate and instruct effectively both in‑person and virtually.
• Conduct monthly peer reviews on the effectiveness of training delivery.
• Update training mission plans as needed.
• Set up classrooms and maintain training equipment suites, along with other duties as assigned.
• Coordinate logistics for training events.
• Maintain a comprehensive repository of relevant TTPs.
• Achieve and maintain Assistant Instructor (AI) and Primary Instructor (PI) certification and annual re‑certification as required by the PM CT TPF SOP.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2‑year technical school.
• Three years of relevant experience (or four additional years of direct technical experience may substitute for education, for a total of seven years).
• Demonstrated experience facilitating small and large group training activities in both in‑person and virtual/online classroom environments.
• Ability to instruct personnel using prepared course material.
• Experience with the operation of the Simple Key Loader (SKL).
• Ability to travel worldwide, including combat zones, at least 70 % of the year.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Active Secret clearance.

Desired Qualifications

• Prior military experience is a plus.
• Instructor certification by either military or civilian authority.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to sit, walk, and/or stand throughout various times during the day.
• Use hands repetitively to handle, feel, or operate standard office and maintenance power equipment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
