Trainee Development Program
About the role
The Flow Development Program is a 6-month rotational experience for one exceptional associate in the East Territory, providing broad exposure to Hubbard Supplyhouse's business operations across Eastern North Carolina. This is the inaugural cohort, marking the start of a talent pipeline that will grow with the company.
Responsibilities
- Rotate through key areas of the business, including Operations & Logistics, Sales & Building Customer Partnerships, Purchasing & Supply Chain, Marketing & Business Development, Leadership & Professional Development
- Gain deep knowledge across Operations, Sales, Purchasing, Marketing, Building Customer Partnerships, and more
- Transition into a permanent role where you can build a real career and potentially grow into leadership
- Opportunity for an additional 1-4 months of specialized experience in Sales Office, Showroom, and/or Purchasing for top-performing team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; recent graduates strongly encouraged to apply
- Associate's degree in the plumbing trade (plumbing only at this time) can be in lieu of the Bachelor's degree requirement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Willingness to learn and work across multiple departments
- Ability to work in warehouse, office, and customer-facing environments
- Valid driver’s license required
- Willingness to relocate upon program completion
Qualifications
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine coachability are essential qualities for success in this role. Dependability, accountability, and sharp attention to detail are also crucial. A drive to learn, lead, and take ownership is necessary, not just completing tasks.
Skills
