Traffic Signal Inspector

We are seeking a qualified Traffic Signal Inspector for major NCDPW projects in Nassau County, NY. Responsibilities

• Responsible for construction inspection of major traffic signal infrastructure projects
• Monitor and track project schedule and budget
• Interface with clients/agencies and contractors
• Track work progress through daily field reports and photographs

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• NICET Level II Certification preferred
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field considered in lieu of NICET Certification
• Recent NCDPW and/or NYSDOT project experience required
• NYCDOT traffic signal experience will be considered
• Computer experience required
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experienced with online project management software a plus (SiteManager, ASHTOWare, Appia)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Able to collaborate/coordinate with clients, designers, contractors, and field staff
• Authorized to work in the United States and maintains current Driver’s License

Pay

Compensation range: Minimum $98,000 per year – Maximum $116,000 per year.
