Principal Functional Responsibilities

  • Schedule orders for plant production via Oracle Software
  • Plan transportation routes to set locations based on geographic efficiencies
  • Contact carriers to ship finished product
  • Release orders to ship by working with production to verify schedules can be accomplished with current resources
  • Ensure accurate bills of lading have been created
  • Liaise with customer care to ensure all special orders and expedite orders are scheduled

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Previous traffic and/or shipping work experience
  • Strong basic math skills
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated successful ability to work collaboratively with various departments
  • Demonstrated successful ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure timely deadlines
  • Demonstrated successful ability to perform accurate work under the pressures of tight schedules
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills
  • Demonstrated successful ability to interact with external customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • 3-5 years transportation related experience
  • Previous Cabinetworks Group manufacturing, delivery and service system exposure
  • Prior ERP experience (Oracle, JDE, AS400)
