Location: Bedford and Somerset, PA (work days rotate between these job sites)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule passenger van transportation services as requested by the Interdisciplinary Team.
Assess and plan transportation scheduling services for frail, older adults according to assigned responsibilities and Community LIFE standards.
Handle information confidentially and deal professionally with participants and staff.
Effectively plan and organize assignments efficiently.
Understand and carry out oral and written directions.
Accept and utilize supervision to maintain high standards of quality.
Give direction as necessary and work as a team member.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience in transportation scheduling and/or logistics, and basic level in Excel.
Prior experience in the geriatric field is helpful.
Valid PA Driver’s license.

Skills

Knowledge of the area roads in the program’s service area.
Basic skill levels in Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and iPhone usage.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to deal diplomatically with participants and staff.
Mental alertness and ability to function in stressful situations.
Flexibility and adaptability.
