Trademark Law Clerk (Part Time)
About the role
Barnes & Thornburg LLP is seeking a trademark law clerk position in their Indianapolis office for the Fall. The ideal candidate should be a 2L or 3L level law student with a strong interest in trademark and copyright law. Strong writing skills, excellent oral presentation, and the ability to work well with a team are required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with legal research and drafting of legal documents
- Prepare and review trademark applications and renewals
- Conduct due diligence on potential trademark conflicts
- Research and analyze trademark and copyright issues
- Participate in meetings and discussions with clients and colleagues
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in law school
- Strong academic performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for trademark and copyright law
