About the Job

Epic Company is hiring a Trademark Counsel / IP Executive (Media) to support the end-to-end management of its trademark portfolio. The selected candidate will work closely with the Legal Head and business teams to manage trademark clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and portfolio management activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct trademark availability searches for: Show Titles, Channel Brands, Marketing Campaigns, Digital Assets
• Advises marketing and content teams on trademark risks and brand usage.
• Handle: Trademark Filings, Examination Responses, Hearings, Opposition Proceedings, Manage renewals and maintain trademark databases and docketing systems.
• Support domestic and international trademark filings.
• Aid with Madrid Protocol-related filings and management.
• Coordinate with external counsel and trademark agents.
• Monitor trademark infringements and unauthorized use, including on digital and social media platforms.
• Draft cease-and-desist notices.
• Support dispute resolution and brand enforcement initiatives.
• Assist with intellectual property aspects of licensing agreements, co-branding arrangements, and related commercial transactions.

Skills Required

• Strong trademark prosecution experience.
• Commercial and business-oriented approach.
• Strong drafting and advisory skills.
• Ability to manage timelines and filing deadlines.
• Experience handling trademark infringement matters.
• Understanding of media and entertainment branding issues.
