Mid-Level Trademark & Copyright Associate (CA / CO / DC / GA / NC / NY)

About the role

Kilpatrick’s Trademark & Copyright Team seeks an associate with 5+ years of significant brand management experience that includes conducting and managing high-volume, multi-jurisdictional trademark clearance, developing global trademark filing and enforcement programs, and managing large global trademark portfolios. Experience handling TTAB proceedings is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage high-volume, multi-jurisdictional trademark clearance
• Develop global trademark filing and enforcement programs
• Manage large global trademark portfolios
• Handle TTAB proceedings (when applicable)

Requirements

• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent legal writing and critical thinking skills
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented

Qualifications

• Experience in brand management
• Knowledge of trademark law and procedures
• Ability to manage complex projects
