Trademark Analyst

Principal Responsibilities

• Review official notices and registrations for accuracy
• Aid with powers of attorney and legalizations
• Aid with change of address and chain of titles filings
• Create and maintain real-time tracking spreadsheets of active prosecution, enforcement and dispute matters
• Assist with post-registration maintenance, including research of use/specimens and conduct related use analysis
• Investigate online trademark use by third parties and prepare client reports
• Update client docket databases with prosecution/enforcement/disputes updates and manages related documents
• Maintain prosecution/enforcement/disputes status updates charts and assist with preparing weekly client meeting agendas
• Work on various other trademark projects as needed, both administrative and legal

Knowledge/Skills Required

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• Strong Windows based computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (advanced Excel skills with mastery over formulas and other Excel features for handling complex tasks)
• Prior knowledge of Microsoft OneDrive and SharePoint a plus
• Organize information efficiently and creatively
• Strong attention to detail; excellent grammar and proofreading skills
• Excellent organizational ability, including the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and a willingness to be proactive in communicating deadlines, issues and other information to enable the team to function efficiently; ability to work with a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask effectively
• Honesty, confidentiality, and ethical conduct

Pay and Schedule

• This is a full-time, regular position
• The pay range for this position in New York and Los Angeles only is $30.46 to $45.74 per hour
• Hybrid work schedules combining in-office work days as well as remote work days
