Trade Support -- System Analyst

About the role

We’re seeking a Senior Investment Systems Analyst to support front and middle office investment teams in a highly visible, business-facing role. This position is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, Project Management, Application Support, or Systems Support within an investment management environment. Developer-only backgrounds will not be considered.

This role focuses on supporting portfolio construction, order management, and trade lifecycle management platforms while partnering directly with investment professionals. Candidates must be able to work onsite in Boston four days per week.

Responsibilities

• Support front and middle office investment teams with portfolio construction, order management, and trade lifecycle management platforms.
• Troubleshoot application, data, and workflow issues.
• Partner with business users and technical teams to drive resolution.
• Build tools and process improvements utilizing AI/Copilot capabilities where appropriate.
• Participate in an on-call production support rotation approximately once every two months.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Fixed Income, Equities, and Derivatives, along with a deep understanding of holdings, exposures, risk measures, analytics, transactions, benchmarks, and portfolio data.
• Strong SQL skills (mandatory).
• Experience supporting investors, traders, or portfolio managers.
• Front and middle office trade lifecycle management experience.
• Experience with order management systems and portfolio construction tools.
• Knowledge of market data, investment research, and reporting platforms (Bloomberg, FactSet, CRD, or similar).
• Hands-on experience supporting investment applications in production environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with business users.

Schedule

This is a hybrid role requiring onsite work in Boston four days per week.

Pay

This is a 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity with a strong likelihood of conversion around the one-year mark.
