About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Trade Services Operations Specialist to support a Trade Services team responsible for customer onboarding and static data maintenance within trade processing systems. This role serves as a critical link between internal business partners and trade operations by ensuring customer information, product entitlements, fees, and trade-related data are accurately established and maintained within systems of record. The ideal candidate will possess a basic understanding of trade finance concepts and be able to recognize and interpret common trade-related requests, including Letters of Credit and related trade products.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and amend customer and party records within Tradeworks and related trade systems.
  • Receive and process customer setup forms and static data requests from internal business partners.
  • Support customer onboarding activities by accurately configuring customer profiles, product access, fee schedules, and trade service requirements.
  • Ensure all customer information and trade-related details are properly recorded within systems of record (SOR).
  • Review trade documentation, including Letters of Credit and Standby Letters of Credit, for completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist the Trade Services desk with day-to-day operational activities, document gathering, and record validation.
  • Utilize Vantage and other internal systems to support CEO trade setup activities.
  • Input and release customer requirements according to established procedures.
  • Communicate extensively through email with internal stakeholders and collaborate with global support teams when necessary.
  • Partner with internal customer service and operations teams to resolve setup requests and data discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
  • Basic understanding of trade finance, international trade, or trade services operations.
  • Ability to understand different types of trade-related requests and how they fit within the broader trade services process.
  • Experience reviewing or working with Letters of Credit (LCs), Standby Letters of Credit (SBLCs), or trade-related documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent written communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple operational requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exposure to trade finance, trade services, import/export operations, or banking operations (preferred).
  • Understanding of goods movement, logistics, and import/export documentation (preferred).
  • Experience supporting customer onboarding, customer setup, or master data maintenance processes.
  • Experience working with internal business partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
