TRADE MARKETING MANAGER - PET CARE (HYBRID)

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the development of an integrated promotional and activations calendar in collaboration with Sales & Marketing, set KPIs , monitor implementation and evaluate ROI and develop new ways to optimize programs for future execution.
• Development of customer/channel strategies in collaboration with Sales.
• Manage customer marketing budgets by planning and aligning with strategic accounts to deliver effective and profitable programs.
• Development of selling stories, category reviews decks, and best practices to disseminate and implement across channels and customers.
• Champion new product market entry and execution. Includes managing the development of sales presentation/materials and managing tracking/analyzing the 4Ps in-market implementation.
• Attend sales and customers meetings to represent the voice of our brands. Engage with Marketing to provide the voice of sales in strategic initiatives.
• Partner with Category Management to identify research opportunities, and leverage data to develop category 4Ps strategy for Customer implementation. Provide input and customer centric perspective on brand performance in preparation for S&OP process.
• Develop merchandising materials to improve brand visibility and drive trial across key customers, according to brand guidelines.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Finance or related field
• Minimum 7 years of marketing, sales, or business experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience in the CPG industry required
• 3+ years of experience in Customer Marketing/Trade Marketing CPG (Highly Desirable)
• Syndicated data experience (IRI, Nielsen, customer-specific platforms (Retail Link, etc.))
• Experience in account management
• Experience in sales planning & operations
• Marketing or Category Management experience
