Responsibilities

  • Lead the collaboration with key retail accounts, including Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, and Revolve, to set and enforce Lola Blankets' visual & brand merchandising standards.
  • Own the development of comprehensive visual merchandising guidelines and planograms tailored to specific retail environments.
  • Drive store performance by conducting high-level visits to audit product placement, display quality, and ensure absolute compliance with brand standards.
  • Manage the procurement and logistical delivery of all in-store marketing materials, including permanent signage and display fixtures.
  • Partner with Brand and Operations teams to brief, produce, and deliver visual assets, graphics, and branded fixtures on time and on budget.
  • Lead the development and execution of co-branded marketing campaigns and calendars in collaboration with key retail accounts.
  • Own 360-degree integrated marketing programs across retail touchpoints: in-store activations, retailer dotcom, social media amplification, retail media placements, and event tie-ins.
  • Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for retail account marketing teams — building relationships that unlock incremental opportunities for brand visibility and sell-through.
  • Analyze retail sell-through data and account performance metrics and deliver strategic recommendations to the sales team.
  • Deliver regular reporting on program performance across accounts.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive benchmarking — tracking how peer brands activate at retail and bringing best practices back to Lola.
  • Manage and optimize samples, display units, and in-store marketing materials.
  • Own the development and execution of co-branded marketing campaigns and promotional calendars with key retail partners.
  • Drive data-informed decisions by analyzing retail sell-thru data and providing strategic recommendations for optimizing performance.
  • Lead retail marketing communication, acting as the primary strategic point of contact for account teams.
  • Manage and optimize the inventory and allocation process for samples and display units.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time to support new store openings, major visual changes, and key promotional events across the United States.
  • Maintain a travel and store visit schedule, documenting findings and next steps in a timely manner.
  • Represent Lola Blankets professionally and with brand authority in all retail partner and field settings.
  • Work closely with the Commercial team to align marketing execution with commercial objectives and seasonal sales plans.
  • Collaborate with Brand to brief and deliver brand-right visual assets for all retail environments and co-branded activations.
  • Participate in seasonal planning and market week preparations, including building retail-facing presentations and sell-in materials.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in retail marketing, visual merchandising, or account marketing — with a demonstrated track record in consumer goods, lifestyle, home, beauty, or fashion.
  • Experience developing and executing co-branded retail marketing programs, including in-store activations, seasonal campaigns, and product launch programs.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and the procurement and logistics of physical marketing materials.
  • Demonstrated experience working with major department stores and/or e-commerce retailers.
  • Proficiency in visual communication tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with retail partners.
  • Strong creative eye and attention to detail for visual execution.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, capable of working independently while traveling.
  • Data-fluent: comfortable pulling sell-through reports, interpreting account performance data, and translating numbers into clear strategic recommendations.
  • Familiarity with retail media platforms, retailer dotcom optimization, and digital merchandising best practices is a plus.

Location and Travel

  • Must be willing to travel up to 50%
  • Must be based in Brooklyn, NY, or Salt Lake City, UT
