- Become a Key Player as a Trade Compliance Specialist
- Maintain import and export manuals and conduct regular audits
- Maintain item master data for HTS, COO, and license status
- Cook compliance coding for new products with engineering and procurement
- Ensure import/export records are filed according to US and organizational rules
- Provide FTA data to customers as required and assist with government licensing applications
- Monitor and manage compliance systems and tools used by the division
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies and trade programs (e.g., CTPAT, ITAR, EAR)
- Attend required import/export training and promote a safe work environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; OR 4 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree
- Demonstrated analytical and technical skills to assess business practices and recommend compliance updates
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for interfacing with internal and external contacts
- Understanding of lean enterprise principles and practices
