Trade Compliance Manager

Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise on U.S. export controls, sanctions, and customs compliance.Monitor regulatory developments and assess business impact.Support licensing, regulatory filings, and communications with government agencies.Partner with business teams on complex compliance matters and risk mitigation.Assist with customs compliance, broker management, audits, and recordkeeping.Help drive trade compliance awareness and training across the organization.Coordinate with the Global Customs team on topics requiring central input such as classification, valuation, and originHandle interactions with US authorities where required, including support for license applications, requests, and regulatory communicationSupport the Regional Trade Compliance Manager in implementing export controls, sanctions, and customs compliance requirements in the USIdeal BackgroundStrong knowledge of EAR, OFAC, and U.S. customs regulations.Experience in a multinational or industrial/manufacturing environment preferred.Degree in Law, International Trade, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.Key SkillsStrong trade compliance and regulatory knowledge.Sound judgment and risk assessment capabilities.Clear, practical communication style.Ability to work cross-functionally with global stakeholders.Organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven.
