Fossil Group is seeking a talented Trade Compliance Manager to join our global Trade Compliance team. In this role, you will lead U.S. Customs activity, manage self-filed entries, and ensure strict adherence to CBP regulations, including Partner Government Agency (PGA) and C-TPAT requirements. As a functional leader, you will guide our North American compliance team, driving adherence to country-specific import and export regulations. The ideal candidate is a collaborative partner capable of building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, government agencies, and suppliers to deliver high-quality compliance and continuous improvement.
About the role
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the Trade Compliance team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
- Partner proactively with Logistics, Warehouse Operations, and daily operational functions to ensure seamless, compliant workflows.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable U.S. and Canadian import/export and trade compliance regulations.
- Act as the primary liaison, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with U.S. and Canadian Customs, U.S. Fish & Wildlife, FDA, EPA, CPSC, and other government agencies as required.
- Strategic procurement and management of third-party Trade Compliance partners, including Customs brokers, FTZ Administrators, and ABI software vendors.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Trade Compliance Roadmap aligned with company-wide strategic initiatives.
- Identify, prioritize, and implement innovative process improvements to mitigate risk and optimize efficiency.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Trade Compliance Roadmap to drive strategic initiatives.
- Guarantee that daily compliance operations consistently meet or exceed established quality and service-level Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
- Proven track record managing Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ), C-TPAT certification, and hands-on experience with US Customs self-filed entries.
