About the role

Sales Interns earn an average of $20/hour+ after completing training with commission opportunity. Internships can start at any point in the semester.

Responsibilities

  • Gather listings and sell advertisements from customers in various industries including the farm equipment industry.
  • Learn about Sandhills Global's products and business objectives.
  • Shadow other members of the department to gain exposure to sales strategies.
  • See success and earn commission the first week post-training.
  • Acquire new and existing accounts, service current customers, and apply different sales techniques.
  • Develop advertisements for customers and research prospective advertisers.
  • Place sales orders, maintain sales records, and collect payment.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to commute to the local office when scheduled.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and communicate within a team environment.
  • Results oriented.
  • Flexible and open to change.
  • Stable and progressive work history.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
