TractorHouse Sales Intern
About the role
Internships at Sandhills Global can start at any point in the semester - we are having new hires start their journey with us every single week! The goal is for the intern to gather listings and sell advertisements from our customers in the variety of industries served by Sandhills Global, including the farm equipment industry. The intern will learn about the company products and business objectives as well as shadow other members of the department to gain exposure to sales strategies. The sales process is quick - many interns see success and commission their first week post-training!
Responsibilities
- Acquire new and existing accounts
- Servicing current customers
- Learn and apply different sales techniques
- Develop advertisements for the customer
- Research prospective advertisers
- Place sales orders
- Maintain sales records
- Collect payment
Requirements
- Ability to commute when scheduled to the local office is required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and communicate within a team environment

Pay
Initial TractorHouse Ag Sales Interns earn an average of $20/hour+ after completing training. Established TractorHouse Ag Sales Interns earn an average of $25/hour+ after completing training. Opportunities available in livestock market as well!
