About the role

This is a paid internship position for a Machinery Trader Sales Intern at Sandhills Global in Lincoln, Nebraska. Interns earn an average of $20/hour+ after completing training with potential for commission.

Responsibilities

• Gather listings and sell advertisements from customers in various industries including construction equipment.
• Gain exposure to other areas of the company such as marketing.
• Learn about Sandhills Global's products and business objectives.
• Shadow other members of the department to gain sales strategy exposure.
• Assist in the sales process, which can lead to success and commission within the first week post-training.
• Acquire new and existing accounts, service current customers, and apply different sales techniques.
• Create advertisements for customers and perform research on prospective advertisers.
• Place sales orders and maintain sales records.
• Collect payment for services rendered.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

Pay

Interns earn an average of $20/hour+ after completing training with potential for commission. Established Interns earn an average of $25/hour+.
