About the role

Provide instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards that align with district state and federal requirements guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district and state standards.
• Teach subjects at assigned grade levels as per the curriculum.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to enhance learning environments.
• Participate in professional development activities to improve teaching skills.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding education.

Requirements

• Valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas.
• Eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential if not yet licensed.
• Indiana's Early Literacy Endorsement for teachers working with retained grade 3 students.
• Knowledge of effective practices in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.
