About the role
Tourism Counselor at a Welcome Center responsible for providing travel information and assistance to visitors.
Responsibilities
- Stock brochure racks
- Support daily operations
- Perform general office tasks
- Work independently in a high-volume customer service environment
- Lift up to 40 pounds
- Extensive walking and standing required
Requirements
- Availability to work holidays and weekends
- Minimum commitment of 5 days per month
Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic math and computer proficiency
- Knowledge of Virginia’s travel routes and highway systems preferred
- Travel industry experience is a plus
Pay
$15.00 – $16.00 per hour
