Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain compensation programs, including salary structures, job architecture, and pay ranges aligned with Total Rewards strategy.
- Lead data preparation, validation, and analysis for the annual compensation cycle (merit, market adjustments).
- Conduct internal equity and market analyses to support consistent, competitive pay decisions.
- Provide analytical support and recommendations for off-cycle compensation requests and pay decisions.
- Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate compensation changes and program impacts.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR leaders by delivering compensation insights and structured recommendations.
- Collaborate with external compensation consultants to interpret market data and inform salary grade structures.
- Support evaluation and continuous improvement of MSA’s Total Rewards programs through data and benchmarking.
- Develop Total Rewards reporting and statements that quantify and communicate program value for leadership use.
- Administer incentive programs, including bonus calculations, audits, and reporting.
- Analyze benefits utilization, cost trends, and plan performance to identify improvement opportunities.
- Conduct financial and impact analyses for new or enhanced benefit offerings.
- Support benefits administration processes, including open enrollment setup and testing.
- Partner with vendors and brokers to evaluate performance and resolve complex issues.
- Provide informed recommendations that align benefits offerings with overall Total Rewards strategy.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA).
- Develop recurring and ad hoc reports that support executive and HR decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience supporting compensation, benefits, HR analytics, or Total Rewards programs.
- Strong expertise in compensation practices (market pricing, salary structures, pay equity).
- Working knowledge of benefits programs, with the ability to analyze and recommend improvements.
- CCP or CBP preferred.
