Special Education Assistant position at Topaz Elementary within the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District.
Pay
Pay range: $23.11 - $28.17 per hour (Range 22).
Schedule
- 9.5 months per year, 5 days/week, 3.75 hours/day.
- Shift hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 10:45 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.; Wednesday: 9:45 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
- 204 paid days per work calendar (1001 hours).
Requirements
- Open to PYLUSD permanent employees, substitutes, and external applicants.
- Must meet one of the following:
- Completion of 48 units of college coursework,
- AA degree or higher,
- Passage of Instructional Aide Testing (ESSA).
- Testing available through Human Resources; must be obtained before applying.
- Copy of transcript (degree or unofficial transcript showing a minimum of 48 college units) or proof of passing the Instructional Aide Test (ESSA) required.
- Current resume required.
- At least two references must be provided on the application.
- Selected candidates must complete a DOJ/FBI LiveScan.
