Tooling Technician Graves

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and properly store Tablet Press Tooling
• Determine condition of Tablet Press Tooling and recondition tools as required
• Maintain adequate inventory of tool polishing components and measurement equipment
• Measure and record critical dimensions of Tablet Press Tooling on Inspection Reports
• Maintain Inspection Reports for new and existing Tablet Tooling
• Maintain tooling usage information on Tooling Tracker Report
• Establish and maintain required inventory levels of Tablet Press Tooling
• Provide training to the Tableting operations area as required
• Upkeep of tooling inventory

Requirements

• Ability to perform all tasks defined above
• Must have working knowledge of computers including MS Office applications
• Must be familiar with all OSHA and GMP regulations
• Ability to move about to accomplish tasks
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations relative to job requirements
• Ability to write and prepare business letters, memorandums and reports
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to stand, reach and crouch

Work Conditions

• Subject to moderate noise level
• Subject to high noise levels where hearing protection is required and all personnel protective equipment is required
• Subject to atmospheric conditions, such as fumes from reagents, odors, powders, dust and other particles
