Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Repair, grind, shim, and sharpen a variety of single station and progressive stamping dies for steel and aluminum.
- Assist with manufacturing spare detail sections for critical stamping dies.
- Assist with manufacturing spare parts for a variety of other metal forming equipment (e.g., Riveters).
- Remove and set up larger progressive stamping dies in 300-400-ton presses.
- Assist with training Die Setters on proper set up of smaller stamping dies.
- Assist with manufacturing and assembly of machined parts for custom in-house-built equipment to support manufacturing processes.
- Support plant manufacturing operations as needed.
Education And/or Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of relevant experience in a metal stamping facility.

Technical Skills
- Basic math skills.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time on the manufacturing floor.
Work Conditions
- Regularly exposed to manufacturing equipment and machinery, forklifts, and pallets.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- Regularly exposed to hot and cold weather conditions.
