Tool and Die Technician
What you will be doing:
- Cook up with departments on tooling and machining issues.
- Manage tooling personnel within the department.
- Track job time.
- Tackle tooling in the press or mill.
- CNC programming and operation (EDM, lathe, mill).
- Tool Design and fabrication.
- Mastercam programming.
- Collaborate with maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
- A high school diploma or trade school degree is preferred.
- Journeyman status is preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience with progressive/compound/pierce and draw dies.
- Lear and 5S Training.
- Experience with tube/roll mills.
- Tool Design-Dies/Fixtures.
- Operation of CNC mills and lathes.
- Wire EDM operation and programming.
- Ability to solve tooling problems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Solidworks.
