About the role
Arboreal Management is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to support the operations of INSERT POD INFO HERE. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a proactive mindset and a passion for maintaining high-quality housing.
Responsibilities
- Completing maintenance requests, work orders, and preventative maintenance with efficiency and care
- Prepping apartments for new residents, including light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs
- Maintaining community grounds, amenities, and common areas
- Supporting move-ins, move-outs, and unit inspections
- Troubleshooting and repairing building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security, fire alarms, sprinklers, etc.)
- Responding quickly to emergencies and on-call needs
- Upholding safety standards, compliance with building codes, and company policies
- Delivering excellent customer service to residents, vendors, and teammates
Requirements
- General maintenance experience, ideally in a residential or commercial setting
- Knowledge of basic building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
- Ability to travel between properties
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond with urgency
- A customer-first mindset and strong communication skills
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- First aid/CPR certification (provided by Arboreal Management)
Skills
- Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
- Problem-solving and attention to detail
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
