Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tool and Die Maker to join our team. As a Tool and Die Maker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in our manufacturing operations.
A Day In The Life
- Craft precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures with various machinery, including milling machines, lathes, grinders, and CNC machines.
- Maintain existing tools and dies, identifying and repairing wear, damage, or malfunction.
- Work with engineers and production, providing your technical expertise to ensure collaboration and success in all tooling and die matters.
- Uphold company policies, procedures, and quality standards to ensure we not only meet but exceed industry regulations and customer expectations while making safety first priority.
What Will Help You Thrive in This Role?
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of machining operations, including milling, turning, grinding, and CNC machining (a plus).
- Skilled in using various hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in tooling and die fabrication and repair.
- An attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineers, machinists, and other team members.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
