Gestamp is seeking a Tool & Die Manager to oversee our Tool & Die operations and drive safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced stamping and robotic welding environment. Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Tool & Die team while managing daily priorities and performance.
• Oversee troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement of dies, tooling, jigs, fixtures, and equipment.
• Support stamping and robotic welding operations by ensuring tooling reliability and dimensional capability.
• Manage die repairs, engineering changes, program launches, and tooling modifications.
• Drive quality, cost savings, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Participate in audits and support ISO/IATF quality system requirements.
• Ensure plant tooling needs are met with minimal downtime.

Requirements

• USDOL Tool & Die Journeyman Card or 8+ years of related experience.
• Prior leadership experience in a Tool & Die environment preferred.
• Troubleshooting experience in a production stamping facility.
• Experience with Tandem, Transfer, and Progressive Dies.
• Ability to read blueprints and tooling prints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a team-first mindset.
• Own basic precision and hand tools.
• Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as needed.
