TMD - Manager V (Facilities Branch Chief)
About the role
Performs advanced (senior level) managerial work overseeing daily operations and activities in the Facilities Management (FM) Branch of the Construction and Facilities Management Office (CFMO) /Facilities Directorate. Advise and provide recommendations to the Deputy Director and the Construction and Facilities Management Officer with emphasis on regional maintenance operations, fire and emergency safety, pest management, building controls and recycling. Work involves establishing goals and objectives; developing guidelines, procedures, rules, and regulations; developing schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving established goals; coordinating and evaluating program activities to include budget, contracting, project and management, facilities maintenance and repair, and day-to-day personnel and administrative actions. Position will require cross coordination with other branches within the CFMO. Reports to Construction and Facilities Management Officer (CFMO), and works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
