Titles Manager
This Position
The Titles Manager oversees the timely and accurate processing of vehicle titles, keeping up to date with state DMV requirements, and resolving issues related to DMV rejections. This role also involves supporting title agents, managing employees, supervising daily operations, and providing accurate reports to lenders.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the timely & accurate processing of vehicle titles.
- Keep up to date requirements for each state DMV.
- Determine if DMV rejections are coaching opportunities, DMV additional requirement or DMV error.
- Research vehicle titles if not received by lender in 60 days and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Support title agents by getting documents from customers, lenders, or previous lienholders.
- Manage employees by planning, maintaining & updating work systems, creating procedures & policies that develop the performance and efficiency of the employees.
- Supervise the day-to-day operations to ensure everything is running correctly.
- Manage customers, lenders, processors & team directors inquiries & requests are processed in a timely manner.
- Maintain queues are worked in a timely manner, make sure they are clear before leaving for the day.
- Complete title for buyback/repossessions.
- Train new hires.
- Update & test supporting systems.
Qualifications
Excellent leadership, project management, and coaching skills.
Proven ability to succeed with minimal guidance.
Manage multiple time-constrained priorities simultaneously.
Deep understanding of .NET, React, or other front-end / back-end languages and frameworks as well as API architecture.
Conversant in common Internet technologies and protocols (HTTP, SSL, OAuth, REST, JSON, XML, etc).
Experience launching high-performance and scalable services and applications.
Experience in modern build and release practices, Agile, and DevOps.
Strong proficiency in database systems and design.
Highly organized, adaptable and flexible.
Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
Skilled at hiring and retaining top talent.
Physical Requirements
- Requires the ability to operate a personal computer, office suites, multi-line phone, calculator and other basic office equipment.
- Frequent team member and customer contacts and interaction.
- The physical exertion is moderate between work and our fun activities.
- Work is performed in an office setting, casual dress code.
