About the role
Process paperwork on loans with collateral, ensuring perfection of title on new loans, release of title on paid off loans, and the servicing of requested changes on existing loans. Ensure indirect loan applications are audited and funded accurately and timely, meeting Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements. Maintain rapport with indirect partners, perform due diligence calls, and cross-sell additional Credit Union products or services. Open new consumer share accounts while funding the loan, as appropriate. Build relationships by frequently contacting members and dealerships.
Responsibilities
- Process and audit indirect loan applications to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Perform title perfection, release, and servicing for loans with collateral
- Maintain relationships with indirect partners and perform due diligence calls
- Cross-sell Credit Union products and services to members and partners
- Open new consumer share accounts in conjunction with loan funding
- Communicate frequently with members and dealerships to build relationships
- Resolve escalated member issues with strong verbal, written, and listening skills
- Ensure thorough, accurate, and professional documentation and system input
Requirements
- One to three years of similar or related experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic knowledge of lending policies, procedures, and underwriting principles
- Basic knowledge of DMV, UCC, and State Marine Board title filing procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
- High standard of accuracy and attention to detail
Physical Requirements
- Speaking on the telephone approximately 10% of the workday
- Continuous sitting, standing, talking, and listening for extended periods
- Use of hands in repetitive tasks such as typing and writing
- Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less for processing transactions and computer usage
- Memory demands for recalling policies, services, and regulations
- Occasional lifting up to 35 pounds to move supplies or office equipment
- Bending, squatting, or kneeling to reach ground-level supplies
- Reaching above shoulder level for overhead supplies
- Able to push up to 250 pounds with a dolly
- Occasional snow shoveling to clear sidewalks
Work Environment
- Office environment with average noise levels from computers, printers, scanners, phones, and conversations
- Potential travel impact due to winter weather conditions in Central Oregon

Schedule
Typically 8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 9:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. on Fridays.
