Title Carvel Route Sales Representative (Pennsauken, NJ)

About the role

As a Carvel Route Sales Delivery Driver, you will be fully responsible for the direct store delivery of quality products to our supermarket accounts. Route Sales Delivery Drivers are full-time positions responsible for selling and delivering Carvel & Rich's complete line of high-quality frozen goods to existing and new accounts while driving a Carvel Truck. Key goals include safety, sales and credit volume, customer service and in-store merchandising execution.

• Provide excellent customer service

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and a team player who puts the customer first
• Minimally 21 years of age
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record – we will be checking
• Ability to climb in and out of the truck and carry goods that can weigh up to 50 pounds
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• A CDL-B permit is preferred prior to start. The fee will be reimbursed 30 days after you start and have obtained your CDL-B license (which we also pay for). Do you already have this? Great, that is even better! Ultimately a CDL-B will be needed to perform the essential function of the role, but if you don't have it we can help you get there.
• Previous DSD experience is a bonus

Pay

$46,985.45 - $63,568.55 annually

Schedule

• Hours of work vary by assigned route
• Route start time will start as early as 3am and averages 10-12 stops a day – this is subject to change at any time
• Must be able to work Saturdays during peak season
