About the Role
A Tire & Wheel Alignment Technician / Automotive Technician is essential to the success of our tire shop. You will mount, balance, and install tires and wheels with precision using tire and balancing machines. You will also assist with shop operations, including ensuring safety guidelines are followed, completing paperwork, and maintaining inventory, tools, and equipment. When merchandise arrives, you will properly label and organize it.
Responsibilities
- Mount, balance, and align tires and wheels using specialized equipment
- Ensure shop safety guidelines are followed at all times
- Complete necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently
- Maintain inventory, tools, and equipment in proper working order
- Label and organize incoming merchandise
- Assist in keeping the tire shop running smoothly and efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving history
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- Physical ability to perform tasks associated with the position
- Prior experience as a tire technician, wheel specialist, automotive technician, or wheel alignment technician is helpful but not required
- Experience mounting, balancing, and installing tires and wheels is preferred

Pay
Tire & Wheel Alignment Technicians / Automotive Technicians average $16.00 to $23.00 an hour, including bonuses. This position is not flat-rate pay.
